Jennifer Joyce


Jennifer co-founded True North Programs, LLC (now LeadershipSmarts.com by True North Programs), a boutique leadership development consulting and executive coaching firm, with her partner Patty Beach, in 2001. TNP has successfully led leadership development programs and provided executive coaching to Fortune 500 Companies in diverse fields such as telecom, retail, medical, and biotech.

Jennifer brings over 15 years experience as a consultant and coach to senior management teams and executives. She has an extensive background in organizational development including work in diversity, continuous quality Improvement, team effectiveness, change leadership, strategic planning, meeting design and facilitation, leadership development and executive coaching.

Jennifer is an established innovator in the field of leadership development and executive coaching. The driving force behind award-winning leadership development programs delivered within Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies and other Fortune 500 companies, she was among the first in the industry to introduce executive coaching as a key component of internal leadership development in Corporate America. Jen was also an early pioneer in combining group work with individual coaching to produce deep and lasting personal and leadership team transformation. This magical formula has since become a best practice in the field of Leadership Development.

Jennifer has worked with her clients to build strategy and laser focus for key business results, strengthen management/leadership skills, ensure career promotions, discover and leverage natural talents, and learn how to successfully use change leadership to achieve new goals. In short, she helps her clients develop the three Levels of Mastery: personal, interpersonal and organizational.

Jennifer holds a Masters degree in Industrial Social Work and a BA in International Communications. She is a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute Coaching Program and the Leadership Institute of Seattle Executive Coaching Program. She is a continuous learner and has many other certificates in the field of Organizational Development.
