Expand Your World with SHUVAâ„¢

Have you ever felt that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you finally pluck up the courage to share your new idea to your boss, your board or even your team and it’s as if you are invisible?

It’s like time stops and no one pays any attention to you.

Like your whole world drops for a moment and you wonder if you even said it out loud.

This is a classic and far too common outcome for environments that are NOT running with SHUVAâ„¢ at the core.

SHUVAâ„¢ is an acronym that stands for our 5 basic needs as humans - to be seen, heard, understood, valued and appreciated. It is simple to apply and can change an entire company culture from the roots.

I use SHUVAâ„¢ and teach it to my clients and coaches every day to foster positive, productive relationships and as a simple code to bring love through the logic door.

All too often we get stuck in our heads about our own ideas and what we think needs to happen and we don’t harness the practical tools to co-create psychological safety that enables everyone to be fully present and show up to their work relationships with trust, curiosity and positive regard.

Psychological safety can be hard to come by, especially in a company environment where our job, reputation, and income is at stake.

The intangible qualities of empathy, vulnerability and humility are so important in leadership and team building and yet they seem so elusive and there is no common language to describe them, let alone actively practice them.

SHUVAâ„¢ is a memorable success formula and helps leaders who love equations and codes to be GREAT leaders and know exactly how to bring the best out of each person on their team while delivering incredible results for their company.

I am thrilled to be speaking about SHUVAâ„¢ and its global impact on thousands of leaders on the TEDx stage in Nazareth next month. I hope you will tune in.

Until then, I SHUVA You!
